Opportunities

Because of VVBOOM’s relationship with City of San Francisco, VVBOOM can refer businesses to free or low-cost loans, grants, and various other assistance programs.

Facade Improvement program is the effort by the City to improve the overall look of business corridors in San Francisco. All qualified participants will have access to architectural design consulting, project management, and funding of 50% of the project costs!

Beautification Projects If you have an idea for a beautification project, VVBOOM can work with you to organize Clean-Ups, Plantings, and Art Projects. Our extensive network of volunteers and professionals are helpful in getting projects off the ground.

Workshops and Classes In the past VVBOOM has hosted workshops on Business Planning, Financial Planning, and Basic Business Start-Ups. These workshops are provided on an as needed basis. Many city wide organizations offer classes and workshops on starting a business and various continuing business needs.

Event Planning VVBOOM can help your business or organization plan events that will help the over social and economic development of the corridor. Examples of this are the Annual Trick-or-Treating Event, the Annual Leland Avenue Street Fair, the annual Small Business Week Sidewalk Sales. VVBOOM can assist in grand openings and other business events.

Marketing and Promotions VVBOOM can assist in developing and printing marketing materials such as business promotional ads that get distributed neighborhood wide. VVBOOM’s network of volunteers has proven to be the most effective in delivering information door to door in the community.
